I specialise in Christian books, bringing a strong theological and Biblical knowledge and careful cultural sensitivity. I also have general trade publishing experience and a particular interest in science fiction, fantasy and children’s books, with a deep understanding of narrative structure and storytelling principles.

My experience
I was Publishing Director for IVP Books from 2019-23, managing the overall IVP list, commissioning titles and editing manuscripts. I have also worked in-house for Scripture Union Publishing and Hodder & Stoughton in editorial roles, as well as on freelance editorial projects.
As a digital writer and editor, have been blogging since 2004 and podcasting since 2008, including being editor-in-chief of Impossible Podcasts as a multi-contributor sci-fi and fantasy podcast and website for 5 years. I launched the HodderPod podcast for Hodder & Stoughton and currently write on my Substack, Bigger on the Inside, and publish the Imaginative Discipleship podcast on iTunes, Spotify, YouTube and wherever podcasts are found.
I also offer digital freelance services, including designing author websites.
